Spectrum Big Band

Spectrum Big Band has been at the forefront of the jazz scene in Canberra since 1998, where it began as the Canberra City Show Band, part of Canberra City Band Inc.

A 20-piece Big Band or Jazz Orchestra, Spectrum can be seen regularly performing and promoting jazz, swing, and funk, to audiences around the Canberra region.

Led by Musical Director Andrew Kimber, Spectrum explore a repertoire of popular Big Band classics through to modern and contemporary hits.

Canberra City Band Inc.

As part of the not-for-profit Canberra City Band Inc. organisation, all proceeds go towards providing musical services to Canberra. Services include community-focused performances and music development opportunities for Canberra-region musicians.
